What Merit Pro stores

• Teacher name, email, and school affiliation — created by authorized school staff.
• Student name, grade, division, and points data — used for recognition and reporting.
• Point transactions, leaderboard rankings, and achievement progress.

How that information is used

• To display student progress, rankings, and school-level recognition.
• To generate monthly, yearly, and category-based reports for teachers.
• To create shareable student achievement cards when staff choose to share them.

What parents can see

Schools may share a leaderboard link such as meritpro.live/yourschool. That page may display student names, class information, points, ranks, and achievement progress. It does not display contact details, admission numbers, billing information, or internal school configuration.

How access is controlled

Merit Pro stores data using Supabase on AWS-backed infrastructure. Access inside the app is separated by school, and all data transmission between apps, the leaderboard, and backend services is encrypted using HTTPS.

Minimum student data

Merit Pro is used in school environments and may involve children under 13. The platform avoids student accounts and direct student logins, storing only the information needed for school recognition and reporting workflows.

What schools are responsible for

Schools and authorized staff are responsible for ensuring information entered into Merit Pro complies with their own policies and local data protection requirements, including obtaining consent where required.

Correction and deletion

• Schools can request correction of inaccurate data at any time.
• Schools can request full deletion of their data.
• Data is retained while the school actively uses the service unless deletion is requested.

Infrastructure used

Merit Pro uses Supabase for backend infrastructure and Google Fonts for web typography. No advertising network or analytics platform is used.
