What Merit Pro stores
- Teacher name, email, and school affiliation — created by authorized school staff.
- Student name, grade, division, and points data — used for recognition and reporting.
- Point transactions, rankings, and achievement progress.
Merit Pro is built for schools, so we keep the data model practical and deliberately narrow. This page explains what information is stored, how it is used, and what is visible inside Merit Pro and Merit View.
Parents access Merit View through phone-linked verification. A parent can see only the student profiles linked to their number, including class information, points, ranks, badges, and achievement progress. Contact details, admission numbers, billing information, and internal school configuration are not shown.
Merit Pro stores data using Supabase on AWS-backed infrastructure. Access inside the app is separated by school, and all data transmission between apps and backend services is encrypted using HTTPS.
Merit Pro is used in school environments and may involve children under 13. The platform avoids student accounts and direct student logins, storing only the information needed for school recognition and reporting workflows.
Schools and authorized staff are responsible for ensuring information entered into Merit Pro complies with their own policies and local data protection requirements, including obtaining consent where required.
Merit Pro uses Supabase for backend infrastructure and Google Fonts for web typography. No advertising network or analytics platform is used.
